Rhett Johnson is a lifelong Kansas City resident. He began his apprenticeship with John Monk in 2003. Since then his work has evolved and he has been the recipient of several local industry awards. Today Rhett is recognized as one of the most prominent tattoo artists in the Kansas City Area.

Rhett enjoys working on a variety of tattoo styles and genres. However, he excels in creating pieces that incorporate the use of traditional Japanese imagery. He strives to create tattoos that are customized to each individual client.

His personal mission is “to produce a work of art that exceeds the client’s expectation, leaving them with an experience and memory that will last a lifetime”
